化け物級の「Road To Red」が出てしまいやや存在感が薄れてしまった感もありますが、こちら「Lark's Tongues in Aspic」のボックスセットもかなりのものであることは今さら言うまでもありません。CD13枚＋DVD1枚＋Blu-Ray1枚という圧倒的なボリューム感です。

スタジオ盤のリマスター、ライブ音源、アウトテイク音源、ライブ映像と実にバラエティに富んだ構成になっていますが、そのほとんどが初めて耳にするものばかり。なるほどマニア筋にとって感涙モノであることは間違いありません。「正規音源だけでは満足できないのか？」という問いかけは、一切無意味です。「だってそこに音があるのなら、聴くしかないでしょう」というが本音です。映像はあの有名な「Beat Club」のものが収録されています。
